The Entertainment of Stage Hypnosis

Many people have made a living using stage hypnosis as part of an act. When you hear about hypnosis, this is usually what people think of. It is what the public sees and hears about most often. People who hypnotize to provide entertainment are sometimes comedians, magicians, or just hypnotists, and they provide a full show around their ability of stage hypnosis.

A lot of myths about hypnosis come from stage hypnosis. For example, people who seem to be "brainwashed" are often seen at these shows. If you are really thinking, though, you will take into account the type of people that are used in these performances. Some people are simply more susceptible to hypnotism than other people. These are usually people who have very open minds about hypnosis. People who volunteer for stage hypnosis are generally not skeptics on the subject. That's not saying that their hypnosis is not real. It is saying that it may seem more powerful on certain individuals.

Stage hypnosis is generally considered by those who take hypnosis seriously as an entertaining stage performance - and nothing else. There is nothing wrong with going to see a stage hypnosis show, as long as you realize that it is pure fun.

Remember that stage hypnosis is a lot different from clinical hypnotherapy. Stage hypnosis exists only for amusement, and not for beneficial purposes. Don't let the sometimes silly nature of stage hypnosis dissuade you from using hypnosis to better your life. The two are very different and the results of stage hypnosis are very different from those of Clinical Hypnosis.

People who perform stage hypnosis often come up with some crazy sounding stuff. If you go online, you can find millions of stunts that people have apparently pulled off through hypnosis. People even claim to have learned to hypnotize lobsters. However, these claims have little to do with actual hypnosis.

Stage hypnosis that is performed on people is much more like what most of us think of as hypnosis. If you are going to perform stage hypnosis, you should remember to choose your volunteers wisely. If someone is out to prove you a fraud, they may not be very susceptible to hypnosis. You want to choose someone with an open mind to make your show a success.
